Congregational Place located at the intersection of Third Avenue and E Street – marks an important gateway to Chula Vista’s reinvigorating historic downtown. This 7-story mixed-use building will provide 56 units of affordable housing for seniors. A non-profit community clinic will be the major tenant at the ground floor – providing health services to both walk-in and on-site seniors. The prime location at the north end of the walkable historic core makes this a prime location for active seniors. The Chula Vista Central Library, a City Senior Center and two major parks are also nearby.
Units are a mix of fully equipped, fully accessible one-bedroom and studio floor plans. The project also features significant amenity spaces including a large commons room and art room. A generous roof terrace offers a barbeque area, a yoga lawn, a walking circuit and a raised bed community vegetable garden along with multiple seating and gathering areas. Car and bicycle parking are provided at the rear of the ground floor – convenient but hidden from view.
