Lillian Place
San Diego, CALillian Place offers convenient downtown housing tuned to the special needs of low-income families. Designed to create a feeling of openness and comfort, this three- and four-story, 74-unit development offers generous balconies, large windows, and tall ceilings. The project also includes the renovation and reuse of a historic boarding house for meetings, computer learning, and special functions. Within the historic structure, a museum-quality exhibit commemorates the African-American community that originally settled and developed this portion of downtown San Diego. Additional family-friendly site amenities include a barbeque area, a tot lot, and a laundry facility. 75 parking spaces are located below the project in a secured garage, including bicycle storage and motorcycle parking.
