Located on a 2.9-acre parcel on Logan Avenue in the Southeast neighborhood of San Diego, Sol provides 147 units of market-rate and affordable rentals. The project includes studios, one and two-bedroom units with at-grade surface and tuck-under parking. The Logan Avenue frontage is enlivened with a neighborhood coffee shop that also works as a common space for the residents. The site is organized around connected courtyards and paseos that include play and gathering spaces and a recreation building with a pool. Building roofs are tilted in a sawtooth profile to maximize solar energy production and give the project its distinctive character.
