Daniel Jimenez, AIA

Danny was born and raised in San Diego before leaving for college in 2005. It took him 16 years to make his way back home, when he joined Studio E Architects in 2021. Before joining the team, he studied at Yale University and Rice University and worked in the architecture offices of Studio Gang, SOM, and WRNS Studio in Chicago and San Francisco.

Danny is fascinated by how architecture shapes social interactions and organizes the flows of so many different materials, trades, and environmental processes. Outside the studio, he loves spending time with his wife and son, exercising, reading about design and philosophy, and rooting for the Padres and Chargers.
