Meet Tyler

Tyler Napolitano

Why did you study Architecture?

For as long as I can remember, my goal was to become an architect. I would love to create spaces that could help improve people’s lives.

My architect hero?

It is hard for me to pick, so many of them have key qualities that I really look up to. The first one that comes to mind, however, is Tadao Ando. I love the way all of his projects incorporate light, making it act as a tangible object.

My two favorite buildings?

First, Church of Light by Tadao Ando. The light that is created in this space is very powerful. Second, The Interlace by OMA. The incorporation of void creates a light structure despite its size. I have yet to see either of these projects, but I definitely will in the future.

Your Favorite Foods?

Lasagna!

Top songs on my mp3 player?

1)4am – X&G     2)Cheated - Cheated     3)Moments – Giraffage     4)Floating - Luvian     5)Lullaby – Chargaux

The Jaguar E-Type. It has to be one of the most beautiful cars of all time.
