FLETCHER COVE MASTER PLAN

Solana Beach is a small coastal community located halfway between San Diego and Camp Pendelton along historic Highway 101. The centerpiece of this master plan is a 5.6 acre park located in a man-made cove overlooking the surf.
The project replaces a parking lot with active recreation area, restores native vegetation to bluff areas, improves beach access, and redirects traffic to make a pedestrian precinct. Planning of new public facilities includes a marine safety center, a community center, restrooms and a multi-level parking structure.
