ARBOLERA DE VIDA

A former sawmill site is home to a new community developed by a local land trust. Uses include single-family homes, townhomes, apartments, live/work units, incubator commercial and retail. The community is focused around a public plaza, community center and park. An orchard will be planted in the park to recall the original land use. The community plan and the buildings are organized to both tie into the existing adjacent neighborhood and to keep energy costs down.
