Mixed-Use - Ballpark District Parking Garage Exterior Model, designed by Studio E Architects and RNP Architects

BALLPARK DISTRICT PARKING GARAGE

To provide parking at the proposed downtown ballpark, the San Diego Padres are constructing two full-block parking structures. In addition to parking 1000 cars each, both garages will be wrapped with retail and housing to create a lively urban environment and to generate revenue off-season.
The parking structures are imagined as extensions of the ballpark experience. The ballpark-facade is layered with vertical circulation behind a diaphanous screen curtain that reveals or conceals activity within depending on time of day or lighting.
Original design completed with Roesling Nakamura Architects
