Escondido Charter High School Theater and Gymnasium is phase two to the previously completed Escondido Charter High School. This 32,000 s.f. expansion is a single structure containing a performing arts/academic theater hinged to a gymnasium with locker room facilities and a celebrated weight room which overlooks the entire campus. It continues the theme of strong architectural forms which frame outdoor spaces by providing a pedestrian terminus for the existing campus and a backdrop for the athletic field.
