The client--a national real estate developer--desired an urbane-yet-relaxed environment for their downtown San Diego corporate headquarters. Studio E Architects integrated new workspaces with material selections appropriate to the loft character, clear detailing, exposed systems, and an open, contemporary feeling into this National Historic Register-listed building. Creating this unique and invigorating workplace on a tight timeframe and budget involved close design team collaboration with the client and contractor.
