Composed of 2,200 square feet on three levels, the house is wrapped around a sixty-year old mock-orange tree, forming a 'C'-shaped courtyard. The plan is one room wide, allowing light-filled spaces, ample ventilation and an intimate connection to outdoors. Upper levels and a roof deck enjoy views of downtown San Diego, the bay, and the ocean beyond.
